This is how Mabel and Monkey spent election day - they put their partisanship aside to work together to generate a nice warm pocket on the couch. Smart cookies!
Actually, I think Mabel secretly planned this in order to make sure there is a photo of Monkey's butt looking large -- so that she may appeal to the "We don't like cats with big butts" group in hopes that Monkey would be put on a diet and she could laugh at him. Or perhaps I've lost my mind and need less Halloween candy.
Awwwww.... Our country would be a better place if Democrats and Republicans snuggled together on a blanket on the couch...

Amazing how attitudes change when the weather gets cooler. ; ) I guess all the politicians/people need is a mild ice age, eh?
