Beer pong. Good times.
If you are familiar with the game to which I refer above, then you probably went to college on the east coast, where there was lots of cold, snowy weather and not a lot to do in small college towns.
Tonight, while prepping for tomorrow's 7 person Thanksgiving extravaganza, I had the chance to relive a bit 'o college by playing beer pong while waiting for pies to bake. Good times.
You line up 6 cups of beer like bowling pins (generally plastic cups only 1/2 full of beer) on each end of a table. Generally, any old kitchen table will do, but a regulation length ping pong table helps.
You have two teams (either individuals or tag teams). Each team has several ping pong balls, and takes turns trying to toss the balls into the cups of beer at the other end of the table.
If a ball lands in the cups you're guarding, you chug the beer.
I was a bit of a college beer-pong champion, so it was fun to relive old times. Plus, it really helped Thanksgiving prep just fly by...
As long as I don't end up with a hangover tomorrow...
