Double your pleasure, double your fun

I'm not talking about gum here, folks. I'm talking about the joys of double knitting. This past weekend I saw an adorable double knit scarf and here I am. I bought the book it came from and have embarked on an interesting journey. Having never actually done multi-color knitting (intarsia yes, fair isle no), the hardest part so far has been figuring out a good way to hold the yarn.


I chose a lovely red and orange merino wool combo


Which looks lovely together


But is kind of tough to work with at night in low light

Hopefully blocking will solve the uneven stitch issues...
