This just in - Mabel LOVES her felted cat basket

IMG_2302

Post shower this morning, I was amazed to find that Ms. Mabel had located her felted cat basket (which I had placed on the coffee table) all on her own and was comfortably nestled inside.

Apparently the sides provide excellent chin support.

Pattern is Chaton Minet Felted Cat Basket by Caroline Dlugy-Hegwer and is available for free via Ravelry.

I'm so glad Mabel has a lovely place to snuggle. I've been wanting to make one of these, will need to add to the queue!

Ohhh, too sweet. Funny how cats figure out what's theirs (erm, everything in the house, really) eventually! I'm jealous of how stiff the sides of your cat bed are, as my cat's needed a whole extra pillow to give it the proper chin support.

This is really cute! I think Aliflo should make one for her uncle!

I might just make one for my dog. (Does it come in a larger scale?)

Yoel, I ended up running it through the washer 3 times (I have a front loader) to get it to shrink up nicely. I also used double-stranded Cascade...I wonder if Brown Sheep felts up thicker...

Victoria, you could just add more chevron repeats since it's knit from the top down :-)
