The Mistake
Well, I've been doing lots and lots 'o mindless activities (mainly some napping and good ol' fashioned TV watching) so that I don't have to really think about my job...which stinks. It takes every ounce of strength I have to make it through each and every day. The downside is that this leaves precious little energy to knit--especially on a not-so-mindless-to-knit cable coat.
I've been working on it this weekend a bit.
I've completed a whopping 12", approximately 1 million inches of cabling remain.
Last night I noticed a rather gaping mistake that I made a couple of cables back...and I have to confess that although it is driving me crazy I just do NOT want to rip it out. So, I'll have to learn to live with it.
At least it will be near a seam...maybe then I won't really notice...

omg. it's so beautiful already. I'm glad the tiny mistake is near a seam. Phew!
Don't rip it out. I had a hard time even finding it. It's beautiful. Keep on keeping on.
I'm still plugging away...hopefully I'll finish the back this weekend. This will definitely be the largest item I have ever knitted...
update: i haven't picked this up since i wrote that post...i'm sort of hating this sweater right now--hating it!!!
